friday night

Westport, connecticut is a really classy place. We got in early today. I do what I normally do before a show, which is basically nothing. I like relaxing for the most part. tour is pretty stress free. I'm saving up my money for when I get home. I think its time to stop eating for a while, until I'm the right size to make people happy again. It should be a journey.

roads

Here I am in a dorm room in philadelphia. Its been about a week on the road. Its been good. We've had a place to stay every night, thank god. We stayed at a fratt house in penn state the other night. And they booked us a show for next week, so we wll make a lot of money at a huge party, after our show in altoona. I can't wait for that.
My thumbs been ripping open every night when we play, it makes me bleed like a crazy man. My singing has gotten better and better with time. Being on the road is making it stronger. I can't wait for the cd to come out, so we can play more and more new stuff.

I'm in york, pa right now. Were headed up to west chester to play at what seems to be a skate park? It should be good none the less. Were spending the night tonight in philidelphia.
Last nights show was real cool. The school boy humor guys are badass.
I can't wait to go to florida.

the last few days

We started out in virginia beach, met up with the dudes in school boy humor and select start. They're all bad ass guys, thank god. We've actually never really got along with bands as good as we have with these guys. The first show was awesome, around a hundred or so kids, in the oddest part of town.
Saturday we hit up vienna, virginia. We love vienna and always will, its a cool scene. The show was sold out, and we pulled in tons of merch sales which was awesome.
Last night it was the pikesville bowling alley, which was pretty sick. It was a lot better than we thought itd be. All the bands got back end which was sick nasty. Ha.
I saw stephanie, thank god. She's the bestest.
Today were going up to pennsylvania. Its cold, but its been colder. Our van is the best thing in the world, and I am pumped to be doing this full force.

Printed shirts all day

It's funny talking to the old people that run our bands life. They have a different sense of humor and a really serious side to go along with it. I can't stop thinking about how weird it would be to me making a pretty solid salary based on kids like me that play music.
We made a lot of breakthroughs already by means of the new songs. It's going to be a great year. I even get free clothes from now on. Thank you Glamour Kills.

It's almost wednesday

It's weird the excuses you will make for yourself when you don't want to wake up. It's like a form of schizophrenia.

Animals and such

Tonight was composed of a dinner meeting at Red Robin. My clothing company is about to launch just in time for tour. It should be an interesting adventure. I need to pull everything together with Julia, and make this work. We've been working on this since summer, and it's finally about to launch.

This is the last week I have before I head out into America. I hope I see all of the people I need to before I go. I'll be back every once in awhile, and then head back out. I can't wait to see all of the people and places that I haven't seen in forever.

There's a big difference between waking up and getting up. I'm getting up.

I'm sure of that.

Sunday

I cleaned out my car today. Hardcore cleaned it out. I put down floor mats, and hawaiian print seat covers. It was probably the most productive thing i've done all week. My car was horrible. I'll spend the rest of the day making shirts with cody, because that's what I do.

We leave on friday for the world. We are financing our van from lydia. It's incredible, it even has bunks in it. 4 bunks, and 2 benches. We have thirty-nine dates posted right now. This next year's going to be crazyness.

I decided

to start posting in this blog again. It has a fair enough name to be posted in, and there is absolutely no point in making another one. It hasn't been touched in a year and a half, but to me that's more of a reason to keep it. It has old thoughts, and old thoughts are genius when they're reconsidered. I need a blog to post my thoughts, that's a clear point. I will start touring again in the next week, and I need a place to document/keep my head filled with interesting things. Read if you'd like, follow along, etc....

I'm at my dads house. On the way over here I got to thinking about how sometimes a facebook status isn't enough to clear up what you're thinking. Also I am a big talker, and no one really likes listening to me. A page on the internet will help me write and write till I don't need to anymore. There are people upstairs, I don't know who they are.

We finished the cd. It's more than we could've asked for. So much work was put into that album.
